Project Orson

A pitch for a hypothetical mobile app.

About

When I applied for the position of Digital Product Designer at Little Miss Robot in 2016 I had to make a pitch presentation to demonstrate my skills and knowledgability in the fields of UX, Design and technology. The brief was a real one that LMR had received, and they wanted me to make a hypothetical answer to that brief.

So I designed and concepted a mobile note-taking app specifically aimed at journalists, using Natural Language Processing to automatically discover links between stories. I named it Orson in reference to the late, great Orson Welles, whose radio-play of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds infamously blurred the line between reality and fiction.
